Ski resort Opálená is located in the northeastern part of the Beskydy Mountains, between the villages of Čeladná and Pstruží. This family resort offers several slopes of varying difficulty, making it an ideal place for skiers of all levels. The area is easily accessible by car, on well-maintained roads, and there is a parking lot available for visitors right next to the ski slope. Parking is free and there is sufficient capacity even during peak season.
Slopes and Facilities
The Opálená ski resort offers:
- Blue slope: 300 m (for beginners)
- Red slope: 450 m (for advanced skiers)
- Snowpark: 350 m (for snowboarders and freestyle skiers)
There are three lifts in the resort, which can handle up to 1,350 people per hour. Children and beginners will appreciate the children's park equipped with a moving belt and a carousel. There is also a modern ski and snowboard rental shop on site, where you can borrow everything you need for your day on the slopes.
Services and activities
There is a ski school on site, offering lessons for all ages. Experienced instructors will help beginners with their first steps on skis or snowboards, while advanced skiers can perfect their technique.
There is also a restaurant near the slope, where you can warm up and enjoy a snack. For adrenaline lovers, there is a snowpark with various obstacles. Children can try riding the inflatable carousel, which is a popular attraction in the children's park.
Practical information for visitors
The journey by car from our wellness hotel Pod Kyčmolem takes approximately 55 minutes. The area is open daily from 9:00 to 16:00, with the possibility of evening skiing from 17:00 to 20:00. Admission fees vary depending on the type of ski pass and age, including special offers for families with children.
The best time to visit the Opálená Ski Resort is from December to March, when the conditions for skiing are ideal. We recommend planning your visit during the week when the slopes are less crowded.
