Ropice Castle, originally a Renaissance fortress from the 15th century, has become an elegant Baroque castle over the course of its history. It was rebuilt in the early 18th century during the reign of the Saint-Genois family, and its current appearance in the Classicist style dates from 1810, when it was rebuilt by Karel Celesta.

The main castle building has a rectangular ground plan and is richly decorated with pilasters and ornamental decoration of the window frames. The castle grounds also include a granary, stable and remains of farm buildings, which formed part of the castle's grounds.
