Information
The Kozubová lookout tower rises at an altitude of 982 meters and is part of the Chapel of St. Anne, which was built here in 1936–1937 by the priest Ploszek from Hnojník. The building is made of Godul sandstone and its history is inextricably linked to religious traditions, as evidenced by regular pilgrimages around the feast of St. Anne. With a height of 18 meters and a viewing platform at a height of 15 meters, the lookout tower offers limited but impressive views to the north and east, where the panorama of the Czech-Slovak-Polish border region extends.
Both the chapel and the lookout tower are now owned by the church, which historically limited their accessibility. Thanks to cooperation with the operator of the Kozubová cottage, which now serves as a hotel, the lookout tower is accessible to visitors, who can borrow keys at the cottage.
