Travný Peak is one of the dominants of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy Mountains. It lies above the Mohelnice Valley and its forested massif forms a distinctive landscape backdrop for this area. On its slopes lies the Travný Nature Reserve, which protects rare species of flora and fauna. The most important animals of this area include the strictly protected capercaillie, black stork, lynx, European wolf and brown bear.

In the past, the Travný area was accessible via marked hiking trails, but today the trails have been closed due to nature conservation. This gives the whole place an even greater sense of untouchedness and authenticity. For lovers of nature and quiet relaxation, Travný is a true paradise where they can experience the beauty of the Beskydy nature undisturbed.

• Relaxation in nature: For those looking for peace and escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, Travný is an ideal destination. The nature here offers ideal conditions for meditation and quiet walks in the forest.
• Discovering history: On the slopes of Travný there are partisan memorials and the remains of bunkers from World War II, which give the place historical significance.

• Transportation: Travný is located approximately 55 minutes by car from the Pod Kyčmolem hotel. We recommend the route via Krásná or Morávka, where you can park and go hiking.
• Parking: Parking is possible in the villages of Krásná or Morávka, from where marked hiking trails lead to the Travné area.
• Accessibility: Due to nature protection, direct routes to the summit are not available. We recommend following the latest information, otherwise entry is only possible with the written consent of the Beskydy Protected Landscape Area Administration.
• Recommendation: Take plenty of water, sturdy shoes and clothing for nature. Due to nature protection, it is important to respect local rules and not deviate from permitted paths.
