Next to the lookout tower is a refreshment stand, which is open every day during the holidays from 10 am to 5 pm, but is closed in bad weather.

The lookout tower can be found on the eastern edge of Karasín, next to the asphalt road, and is part of the red-marked hiking trail connecting Vír and Dalečín. The area also offers picnic seating and a children's playground with climbing frames, making it an ideal place for families with children. Parking is available nearby.
