Devět skal, with an altitude of 836 meters, is the highest peak of the Žďárské vrchy and the second highest point of the entire Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. It is located approximately 3.5 km southeast of the village of Herálec, which makes it an easily accessible destination for visitors to our hotel. Since 1976, Devět skal has been declared a natural monument, thanks to its unique geological and biological value.

The Nine Rocks are made up of nine main rock formations, including the Main block, the Tricky Tower, the Žďár Tower and the Royal Castle. The walls of these rocks reach a height of up to 15 meters, which makes them a popular destination for climbers. The rock city was created thanks to frost weathering processes, which created three separate rock ridges with nine larger and three smaller peaks.
